IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ There has been a major change in the band. After much uncertainty, stretching back almost a year now, the band have decided to shed the weights of the past, and carry on without the baggage of reputation and stigma. That's right, The Donnadays are no more. But from the ashes is born a 'new' band, and this band is called Blue Sky Warning. Don't think we've gone and left you, every member of the band is still in the band, and all the songs are the same. It's just that we all wanted to make a clean start. We wanted to start over, except with the knowledge of music we have now. Everything will carry on as normal, with the following exceptions: The site (as if anyone goes on it) will be down for a while The 3 track demo released earlier this year will most likely be combined with the other we will be recording shortly to make a 5 track EP. The Myspace has changed, and it will be the main site for us untill the site is functioning properly And obviously, the name. So, in essence, all you have to do is exactly what you were doing before (which is either coming to see us or wishing you could come to see us, isn't it?) Just look for a different name. So visit our 'new' myspace Oh, and read the post below. 12th July 2006 And we're back. Exams are over, and we've already got 4 gigs lined up for the next month or so, check the gigs section for dates and info. Next week we'll be in the studio creating our next demo. It's all a bit hush hush, but I can say that it will be far better quality than our first. Stay tuned for updates next week. 8th June 2006 I. Hate. Technology. So I now have a fried graphics card and a corrupted hard drive sitting in my room. Hence massive delay. It'll take about a day to go through the files that were saved, so the new gig dates and hopefully some backlogging will be done. 24th April 2006 We've got a couple of gigs lined up before we get into exam season and the band effectively shuts down. Check the gig listings for details. I've had a brainwave/dream aswell, I've made a thread about it in 'The DonnaDays' section on the forum, go check it out kids. 1st April 2006 I finally re-do the site, and my pc dies. Again. Typical, really. I've only just got it back, so sorry bout the month or so of inactiveness, but I'm starting the backlog of gig dates, and placing links to our MySpace and Soundclick sites around the place. Also: What in the holy hell is all that random crap on my forum? March 2006 Well, here it is. The site is finally getting the revamp it needed. The demo is done, we're back into gigging, and I have time to waste. Alot of things will change, like the photos for instance. There will be a select few photos -the best ones- available on the site, but all others will be stored online if anyone ever wants to see them. The band section is getting more in depth, with mini-bios, equipment lists, and maybe even an interview with The DonnaDays... The site itself is going to be alot more no-nonsense, simpler, and easier to use/maintain. It also looks alot more proffesional. You can always rant about it if you don't like it on the forum (see new fishy buttons on the left). Expect frequent and on time updates in the future, as this layout is alot easier for me to make changes to. I've still got a few months worth of info to get up here, but keep your eyes on this little scrolling box right here, this is where you'll find out what's going on. Also, if you haven't got a copy of our demo, you can listen and download online at www.soundclick.com/thedonnadays Well, here's to the future! |
